Urge Your Congressional Representative to Cosponsor the P.A.D. Resolution (H. Res. 1438)
Representative Erik Paulsen (R-MN) has introduced the P.A.D. Resolution (H. Res. 1438) in the U.S. House of Representatives.
This "Call to Action" encourages government agencies, health care organizations, professional societies, health systems, and clinicians to take actions to improve the diagnosis and treatment of P.A.D.
To be enacted, a majority of Representatives must cosponsor the P.A.D. Resolution. Ask your Representative to support this critical resolution today.
Here’s how you can take action now:
- Identify your Representative’s staff member that deals with health care issues. This person will serve as your primary point of contact. Click here for names and contact information. If you do not know your Representative’s name, click here and enter your zip code.
- Send an email to the Representative’s health staffer. Click here for a sample email.
- Follow-up with the health staffer by phone and email until you get a response. The average staffer receives hundreds of calls and emails each week, so follow-up is key.
By taking action, you can help increase awareness of P.A.D. and improve the health and care of the 9 million Americans living with P.A.D.
For more information on the P.A.D. Resolution, read our press release.
