eNews from VDC...
A division of the Vascular Disease Foundation The Annual Meeting is Coming….

Mark your calendars for September 20-21 for the Venous Disease Coalition's Annual Meeting taking place in Alexandria, VA. This year's keynote speaker will be Ed Trevathan, MD, MPH, Director of Blood Disorders, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention!
We are excited that this year's VDC meeting will emphasize greater active participation from Coalition members! If your organization has a major program to improve awareness, education, or patient care in venous disease that it would like to publicize to the entire Coalition, we invite your representative to give a brief summary of the program to the audience. Due to limited overall time, the Steering Committee will review all requests, determine which are likely to hold the most compelling interest to the larger group, and determine the length of time allotted. Please get back to us
with your responses by July 15.
Our current program includes Hot Topics in Venous Disease including:
- AVF’s Venous Ulcer Initiative
- Chronic Venous Disease program
- VTE Toolbox
- Venous Research Winner presentations
- Moderated discussions on Gaps in VTE Prevention
- The unveiling of the new Women and VTE campaign developed in cooperation with the CDC
It should be an exciting meeting you won’t want to miss. Registration information coming soon!
